Ghana x Pakistan Chitral Kush F2 – Expressive Sativa-Indica Hybrid with Selection Potential

An exceptional crossbreeding project between West Africa and Pakistan

Ghana x Pakistan Chitral Kush F2 is the result of an exciting cross between two contrasting landraces: a presumably pure Sativa from Ghana and the well-known Purple Chitral Kush (PCK) from Pakistan. This combination merges tropical appearance and structure with the robustness and resilience of an Indica-dominant line. The resulting F2 generation offers genetic diversity and is particularly interesting for breeders focused on selection and original genetics.

Origin of the Parent Genetics

The Ghanaian line is based on four seeds brought from West Africa to Germany. Only one female plant was successfully cultivated. It stood out for its narrow leaflets, large foliage, airy structure, and late flowering phase. Despite challenging weather, it fully matured by mid-December and proved resistant to mold and environmental stress.

Due to the absence of male plants, it was pollinated with a third-generation Purple Chitral Kush. This selection was a purple phenotype with intense, berry-like and fizzy aromas. PCK is known as a robust, early-maturing line with high stability—ideal for crossing with Sativa genetics.

Characteristics of the F2 Generation

The F2 generation was bred from a mother plant showing many Ghana traits: upright growth and a woody terpene profile. As typical for this generation, phenotypes vary widely. Aromas range from warm and woody to fruity and berry-like, and colors include green as well as reddish-purple variants.

This diversity makes Ghana x PCK F2 an ideal base for selection and custom breeding lines. Each pack contains at least 15 seeds for targeted selection.

Cultivation Notes

The plants show vigorous, sturdy growth with high tolerance to drought, heat, and humidity. They are easy to care for and especially mold-resistant—even with late flowering. Harvest time ranges from mid-October to early November depending on phenotype.

Even in early stages, aromas offer clues to genetic expression: warm wood notes suggest Ghana, while fruity aromas and red-colored plant parts point to PCK.
