Harlequin CBD + THC

Harlequin is a strain with a high sativa content of 75% and a low indica content of 25%. It was bred to provide good quality hashish. The sativa genes come from Columbian Gold from the 1970s, a Thai strain from the mountains near Laos and a Swiss landrace originally bred for cattle feed. The Indica comes from the Mustang region of Nepal. All these plants originate from high-altitude regions. Harlequin is known for its sweet, almost syrupy taste and smell, which is pleasant both when inhaled and exhaled. The plant takes around 60 to 70 days to reach its full flowering time indoors. It shows buds the size of a fingertip after just two weeks of flowering, compared to other plants where the buds are more the size of a pencil eraser at this stage. Towards the end of the flowering period, the flowers are so heavy that support is needed to prop up the colas. In the drying room, Harlequin can take up to three weeks to dry, as the buds are so heavily covered with trichomes that they appear “frozen”.
