Bunkerlinge – Nepal Sativa Landrace

Discover the unique landrace variety Baglung Nepalese – a true rarity with roots in traditional Nepalese cannabis culture. This mostly Sativa originates from the Baglung region of Nepal, which is known for the production of high-quality hashish (“charas”) and a long tradition of cannabis cultivation. Over generations, these robust genetics have adapted perfectly to the harsh conditions of the Himalayas.

Since the 1980s, Baglung Nepalese by Blue Hemp has been successfully adapted to the Swiss climate. Thanks to the work of the breeder Magic Herbs, it now thrives excellently in more northern latitudes such as Germany. This variety shows impressive resistance to autumn weather and grows up to 4 meters high when planted early. Its flowers, which shimmer from pink to deep purple, impress with their natural beauty – regardless of the temperatures.

Baglung Nepalese flowers quickly: after around 60 to 70 days, it is ready to harvest between mid-September and early October, depending on the phenotype. This means it ripens in good time before the first frosts and is perfect for the German climate.

The effect is typical of a mostly sativa: it is uplifting, creativity-enhancing and ideal for the day. The aroma of the flowers is complex and varied – a blend of earthy, spicy, pungent and woody notes with a hint of sweetness and fruitiness reminiscent of its Nepalese origins.

This variety is not only an enrichment for your garden, but also a valuable tool for growers. It is an excellent parent plant for F1 hybrids. It also offers you the opportunity to obtain seeds yourself and thus contribute to the preservation of this rare landrace genetics.
